Are digital dental x-rays safe?
We are all exposed to natural radiation in our environment. The amount of radiation exposure from a full mouth series of x-rays amounts to the amount a person gets in a single day from natural sources. Dental x-rays produce a low level of radiation and are thought about safe. At our office we take all required safety measures to limit your direct exposure to radiation when taking dental x-rays. We use lead apron shields to secure your body as well as modern, quick film that minimizes exposure time.

Numerous dental strategy carriers utilize the British Columbia Dental Association’s suggested cost guide as a reference to identify plan protection. Any expenses not covered by the plan are the client’s obligation. Keep in mind: Dental organizations and dentists are not associated with any aspect of determining dental plan protection.
